HOW POSi is changing your life forever
POSi Energy has invented a new battery architecture which has the potential to double the energy density of Lithium-ion batteries (LIBs). The patented technology was invented at IBM and the intellectual property has been transferred to POSi. We have developed and demonstrated a LIB design with a unique lithium-silicon anode. The result is an ultra-high-performance battery that cuts weight by more than half, increases energy density by more than a factor of 2, experiences virtually no capacity fade even with high cathode loading, and forms no lithium dendrites.
